Suite Admin 5.0.2 Release Notes

New CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2 installers are available for all supported clouds. You can download these files from software.cisco.com.

Updating Existing Installations
You can update any module that is available in CloudCenter Suite 5.0.1.
You cannot upgrade the Kubernetes cluster for this release.
Updating the Suite Admin takes approximately 5-10 minutes. During this time you will:
See an interruption in the CCS service until the pods restart and regain the Running status.
See a few error messages being displayed, they are temporary.
Be logged out – try logging in after a few minutes.
First update the Suite Admin module.
Verify if an update is required/available. See CloudCenter Suite 5.0 Release Notes > Release Cadence for additional details.
When a module update becomes available, the module card displays an Update button.
Update each remaining module individually See Update Module for additional details.
CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2 includes updates to harden images that are used to deploy the CloudCenter Suite.
To improve the CloudCenter Suite security posture, all provided images have been hardened. Hardening the images ensures that the CloudCenter Suite configuration is in accordance with industry best practices.

The following known issues exist in CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2:
When you log into the CloudCenter Suite and navigate to the Suite Admin, and open the Kibana log, you may not be able to view the logs. While CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2 OVA includes a fix to address this issue, you must install the CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2 files to avoid this issue. If you upgrade to CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2 and if you encounter this issue, you may need an additional procedure after upgrading your environment. To ensure that the issue is fixed in an upgraded environment, follow this procedure.
Access the Kibana UI > Dev Tools.
Enter the following line and click Play.
Upload the kibana-searches.json file in Management > Saved Object > Import and the issue is addressed as soon as you upload the file.
If you see the following error message after upgrading the Suite Admin, you can ignore the error message by closing the popup. If you are connected to the Internet and to a default repository, you will be able to see the modules in the dashboard despite the error.
The following issue was resolved/addressed in CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2:
CSCvp65727: The software fails to scale nodes in an environment where the modules were updated from CloudCenter Suite 5.0.0 to 5.0.1.
Resolution: CloudCenter Suite 5.0.2 includes a fix to ensure that the node scale up functions as designed. See Prepare Infrastructure for additional details.
